Freelance reporter based in Istanbul, covering Turkey and its region. interested in politics, social movements and human rights – I have covered stories from Greece, Germany, UK, Spain, Bosnia and North Africa.
I worked for Al Jazeera English and Spain's National Broadcaster RNE. My articles have featured in ABC, IRIN News, Público, El Confidencial, Periodismo Humano, elDiario.es, Exberliner, Funkhaus Europa, New Internationalist, among others.
I'm never too far from the Mediterranean thanks to the online magazine M'Sur.
In March 2015 I completed a Hostile Environment and First Aid Course (HEFAC)
